Thonburi Railways Station in Bangkok, also known as Bangkok Noi To Kanchanaburi by train only 100 Thai Baht. The train leaves Bangkok twice a day. 7.55am & 1.55pm Platform one. The journey takes around 2 hours 30 mins. It is a 3rd class journey with wooden seats, no air con, & open windows. Be sure to take on board some water as it gets hot. Refreshments are brought on board half way through the train ride. All in all a great little experience. I would definitely do it again. I hope you enjoyed the movie. if so, please share with all your friends, & family. if you would like to give a little something back for all my hard work, and information? There is now a way to help out towards costs of videos. As you probably appreciate, they take a lot of my time and effort. Thank you very much in ...

Geoff Carter shows you around Hua Hin Railway Station which is World Famous. Hua Hin's popularity began to increase in the 1920's as the railway line from Bangkok was constructed and King Rama VI built Klai Kangwon Palace as a summer retreat. Hua Hin's station is one of the oldest in Thailand and its main feature is The Royal Waiting Room that used to welcome King and his court when they were visiting the town. Originally, it was situated at Sanamchan Palace in Nakom Pathom and was known as Plub Pla Sanamchan. Eventually, the room was tranported to Hua Hin. It is designed in the same style as Maruekkhathayawan Palace and is an attraction not to be missed if you are staying in Hua Hin. The train station is located at the top (west end) of Damnoern Kasem Road. Please SUBSCRIBE to ...

Just spending the time with my friend at Samsen station. The first clip shows ALD Alsthom pulling empty passenger cars as it is passing through towards Hua Lamphong. This station serves the Northern line and the Southern line. There are also many level crossings near this station. The signal man shows the green flag to let the driver of the Nakhon Sawan bound train that it is ok to pass over the manually controlled level crossing. This train which was also being pulled by a ALD AD24C Alsthom locomotive made a stop at Samsen before passing over the crossing. Inside the signal box the signal man told me that the Nakhon Sawan bound train is due to cross in about 10 minutes.
